What type of business to start in Middle east?

I love Syria (it's in the middle east) and always think about moving there but I would have no idea what to do there for a career. I'm studying auto. engineering right now and that won't help too much there. I'm just wondering, what type of industries are lacking in Syria...or the middle east in general? What type of innovation can I bring to the table?
