Help with child custody?

6 Months ago my wife almost left me, and filed for divorce. I was so distraught trying to keep her that i threatened my life with a knife, pretty much out of desperation in trying to keep her. Since then we have gotten back together and were good for a while. Just today she told me she doesnt know if she wants to be with me again, and might want a divorce. I will never do what i did again, and im more level headed now, knowing that those type of actions (no matter if out of desperation with no intentions on actually acting on them) will hurt me with my son. Anyway, my question is , is it still possible that thatt action six months ago will still affect me in court if it gets ugly in court? I mean she came back to me,felt safe with me, wanted to be with me, allows my son around me. (o by the way, she filed it with the police.)
