Sadie Hawkins Dance PLSSS Help!!!!?

ok, so i asked a guy to sadies hawkins, and he said maybe i might have swim practice, and i said "ok only if you want to, i thought it might b fun." and he said "yeah it would!" and then i said " yeah! so just let me know if you can go for sure." then he said "ok!" and then i had to go to cl, soooo what do i do now? do i just be patient and wait? or what? thanks:)!
