How do I measure the rate of reaction when mixing H2SO4 and Mg?

I need to perform an experiment in which I combine magnesium and sulfuric acid. I'm going to alter the concentration of sulfuric acid and see its effect on the rate of reaction. How can I measure this? (heat evolved, hydrogen gas released etc?)
