COPD (emphasema and chronic bronchitis at 17?) HELP PLZ!!?

I am only 17 and have only been smoking for 8-10 months about 5 smokes a day... I recently got bronchitis and its 4 weeks on and I have a slight cough that wont go away and im coughing up clear sticky mucas... but I also am still getting slight shortness of breath at times and recently coughed up a large ball of mucas as thick as chewing gum, I think they are called bronchial sacks... I know COPD is rare for people in their 20's... but could I have it after not even smoking for a whole year... I'm really scared and have been to the doctor and he just gave me an inhaler....
