Should i stay or should i go now.?

I am a christian who has moved to a new area and has had a hard time finding a good church. i finaly went to a church that seems to be normal but it is an advent church . I know nothing about this kind of church and uncomforatable with some of the things i have found out (i.e soul sleep) so if some one can explain to me what an advent chuch is that might help me alot.
